Reclining Bulldogs
probably French, late 19th century, each with collar below upright head, shaped carved alabaster base, unsigned and undated, figures 5-1/2 x 12-1/4 x 6 in., overall height 8-1/4 in. possibly originally part of chenets or linked by chain at collar rings, minor cracks and repairs to alabaster bases with some discoloration.
