New York, attributed to Herts brothers, circa 1880s, each with finely carved back with looped dragon head crest rails, pink, blue, and white upholstered slip seats with brass tacking, on finely turned legs, 38-1/2 x 16-1/4 x 18-1/2 in.

good overall, minor crack at one ear, metal bracing at rear legs (likely as made), later plugged screws at leg attachments, upholstery in good condition
