Continental, late 19th century, the black-painted dog holding a twig-form rod in its mouth, inset glass eyes, pink tongue protruding from open mouth, mounted on oval black-painted ceramic backplate, "105"(?) impressed verso, 10-1/4 x 20 in. at rod x 11-1/4 in..
