(Paduan, 16th century) Pedestal base with Bacchanalian masks and three cupids, possibly the base for an incense burner or ink well, bronze with remnant of gilt surface, 3-3/4 x 5 x 5 in., loss of gilt surface. Notes: Lee attributed this work to Tiziano Aspetti, who was working in both Padua and Venice..
