attributed to shop of John Swicegood, Davidson County, North Carolina, circa 1800, single case construction with scrolled pediment set with original turned finials, two arched doors opening to shaped shelved interior, traces of Prussian blue paint, over single door and two cabinet doors, applied pilasters and rope twist corners, retains early dry surface, 106 x 54 x 24 in.. Provenance: Estate of June Montague Ficklen, Greenville, North Carolina
Condition
at some point cabinet was cut in half at level of drawer and put back together (some associated bracing and later molding to disguise the cut), drawer with one replaced backboard, hinges and brasses replaced, drawer has later cutlery dividers, feet replaced

Sales Tax: If you live in North Carolina and/or pick up from the auction house, and do not have a valid resale tax number on file with us, you MUST pay North Carolina state sales tax. The NC Sales Tax will not apply to any items being shipped out of state (unless the client resides in North Carolina) or to those clients with a resale tax number.
