red, white and blue pieced cotton quilt, center panel stitched, "PILGRIM HOLINESS CHURCH/ 1934 - OF HEMP-1937/ 'IN THE MASTER'S SERVICE'", red strips stitched with names of those attending church classes, pieced and hand quilted, green backing, 69 x 87 in. some wear, a few light stains, binding loose in some areas but present. Notes: Hemp is the former name of Robbins, North Carolina. The town changed names in 1943.
