eastern North Carolina, late 18th/early 19th century, figured walnut with yellow pine secondary throughout, line inlaid fall board and drawer facings, fitted desk interior, on original ogee bracket feet, 43-1/2 x 42 x 21 in.
excellent condition overall, probably original brasses, original feet and most blocking with scattered breaks and repairs, fall board hinges replaced
