Implements and a Pair of Needle Cases
Chinese, 20th century: finely carved ink stone with figures in landscapes, deep well, impressed Qianlong seal at one side, 2-1/2 x 8-1/4 in., in silk-lined case; famille rose covered porcelain chop ink box, 4 in.; floral-decorated porcelain brush rest, 4-1/4 in.; export seal, calligraphy verso; blue and white seal paste box with landscape motif, export wax seal, 3-1/8 in.; calligrapher's brush in finely carved wooden case, floral and phoenix decoration, 11 in.; bamboo wrist rest with calligraphy and symbols, 9-1/2 in.; soapstone wax seal carved with monkey holding a fruit, 2-7/8 in.; pair silver-plated needle holders, each 3-1/8 in. all in good condition. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser’s risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests.
