Implements and a Pair of Needle Cases Chinese, 20th century: finely carved ink stone with figures in landscapes, deep well, impressed Qianlong seal at one side, 2-1/2 x 8-1/4 in., in silk-lined case; famille rose covered porcelain chop ink box, 4 in.; floral-decorated porcelain brush rest, 4-1/4 in.; export seal, calligraphy verso; blue and white seal paste box with landscape motif, export wax seal, 3-1/8 in.; calligrapher's brush in finely carved wooden case, floral and phoenix decoration, 11 in.; bamboo wrist rest with calligraphy and symbols, 9-1/2 in.; soapstone wax seal carved with monkey holding a fruit, 2-7/8 in.; pair silver-plated needle holders, each 3-1/8 in. all in good condition.
