United, Native Americans crossing the desert on horseback, signed lower right "Nick Eggenhofer", gouache on Bainbridge board, 11-3/4 x 16-3/8 in.; gilt wood frame with TruVu glass,. Condition: slight toning; frame with abrasions. Notes: Eggenhofer was noted for his meticulous research, developing his subjects with a high degree of accuracy.
