probably Connecticut, circa 1800, arched painted dial with Federal shield-painted spandrels, date ring and calendar aperture, the case with fan-carved door, with two weights and an associated pendulum, 92 x 20-1/2 x 11-1/2 in.,. Condition: the brass works are replacements, probably once fitted with an arched pediment (top front molding replaced), feet replaced, door opening with later braces at sides.
