coastal Massachusetts, probably Salem, late 18th century, in maple, birch, and other mixed woods, upper case with bonnet top over two paneled doors, opening to shelved interior, lower case with fitted desk interior with central fan carved drawer, serpentine graduated drawers, fan carved skirt drop and ball and claw feet, top of lower case with several inscriptions, 96-1/2 x 41-1/2 x 23 in.
