Boston, Massachusetts, circa 1775, figured mahogany throughout, fitted desk interior over four blocked long drawers on blocked straight bracket feet, boldly signed on bottom board "Samuel Haywood", 43 x 44 x 22-1/2 in.

very good condition overall, fall board hinges replaced, four brasses replaced (others appear to be original), original feet and most blocking with some typical breaks and repairs at facings, other bumps and edge wear
