Connecticut, 18th century with restorations, blind fretwork cornice above two paneled doors flanked by inset fluted quarter columns, fitted bookcase interior, lower case with carved molding above a fitted desk interior over four dovetailed long drawers flanked by stop fluted quarter columns, on ogee bracket feet, 86 x 40 x 23-1/2 in.

restored, upper case largely restored or possibly a later replacement, bed molding, brasses, and feet replaced, strip patches at fall board and some drawer facings, shrinkage cracks at case sides, some minor sun fading and surface distress, some polish residue at brasses
