Commode probably German or Italian, 19th century, parquetry top with ebonized surround, three dovetailed long drawers, the lower two centering a marquetry panel depicting Diana the Huntress, bronze mounts, inlaid tapered feet, parquetry side panels, 31 x 35 x 17-1/2 in.. Condition: typical scattered veneer distress and warping with some patches and repairs, minor cracks, chips and separations, some color retouch, other possible restorations (interior sides with two unused mortises and underside of top is finished).
