German or possibly Russian, 19th century, walnut, mahogany and other mixed woods, figured walnut veneers throughout, inlaid top with burlwood molding, three dovetailed long drawers lined in bellflower inlay, ebonized and burlwood inset columns, top drawer with false front and fitted desk interior with highly figured burlwood veneers, 38-1/2 x 52 x 25 in.
