French, 19th century, polychrome and gilt bisque porcelain, marked "P. Mallard/ 55 Royal/ New Orleans" on dial and upper and lower case, the figural group modeled as Cupid tugging on a maiden's sleeve, elaborate scrolled case hand painted with scenes of doves, 17-1/2 x 13 in.
