London: The Grolier Society, circa 1900, 16 volumes total, includes [the Life of Napoleon] by William Hazlitt, [Memoirs of Napoleon] by Bourrienne, and [Memoirs of Madame Junot], the Connoisseur Edition, one of 75 numbered copies, bound in three-quarter leather over marbled boards, with four raised bands, gilt-decorated spines, top edge gilt, 9-1/8 x 6-1/4 in.; together with a single volume [Napoleon Intime], in matching leather, 9 x 6-1/4 in.. Condition: some volumes with ownership stamps, bookplates on the front pastedowns, otherwise near fine; the green leather spine of Volume I has not faded like the other volumes.
