on Base Asian, probably Vietnamese, 19th/20th century, hardwood tray with metal-banded corners, finely inlaid sides and skirt with scenes of figures in landscapes, flowers and other motifs, base with applied label with inscription, 4-1/2 x 12-1/4 x 8 in., large cracks and separations at joint of tray to stand, some warping, scattered losses to mother-of-pearl inlay.
