Note: The 18 panels of Parrish's Florentine Fete, painted between 1910 and 1916, were first displayed in the “Girls Dining Room” at Curtis Publishing in Philadelphia, then-owners of Ladies Home Journal. Parrish put himself into the Fete series, and nearly every woman depicted is a version of his longtime model and mistress, Susan Lewin who appears 166 times.
