(New York/Germany, 1880-1968) two Rockport, Massachusetts, scenes: The Harbor and Cloudy Skies, unsigned, oil on fiberboard, 8 x 6-1/4 in.; matching modern silver gilt frames, good condition. Notes: A note, which was removed from the backing and accompanies the lot, indicates that Dr. Howard was a close friend of Kuehne's and the writer was his secretary. Howard, Boston, and Rockport, Massachusetts, gifted to colleague circa 1960; Private Collection
