circa 1810, arched painted dial signed "Warranted, by WM Cummens, Roxbury", with sweep and date aperture, brass movement, hood with pierced fret work, waisted case with fluted and brass mounted quarter columns, interior backboard signed in chalk "Cummens No.8"?, with two period weights, winder, pendulum bob and pendulum, 94-3/4 x 19-1/2 x 10 in.

dial paint in good condition with only minor flaking and even craquelure, period saddle board, original feet, fretwork is possibly original with some brakes and repairs

Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges.
