serial number 422 on frame and cylinder, manufactured from 1857 to 1861, 6 in. octagonal barrel with blade front sight, .36 caliber, five shot, double action percussion revolver, indiscernible "Mass. Arms Co." stamp on top of frame, "ADAMS PATENT / MAY 3. 1858" stamp on left side of frame, "PATENT / MAY 3. 1856" on right side of frame, safety slide, one piece checkered wooden grips, 11-1/4 in.

Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.

handling wear, corrosion in bore, corrosion in cylinder, oxidation and staining to barrel, abrasions and dings to metal components, pitting to metal, loss to original cylinder pin, loss of Kerr's Patent loading lever, "Vs" etched into sides of grip, crack to right side of upper frame, sometimes the action will function correctly, sometimes the cylinder won't turn, some times the hammer won't drop when the trigger is squeezed
