English, circa 1820-1825, superbly modeled vase or ewer after an "antique", heavy gilding, two applied figural putti, one gripping the goose-neck handle, satyr heads in deep relief on lower body, elaborate feathered scrolls surrounding each element, two sides with rectangular panel with long-tailed bird and flowers, one panel in delicate color, the other gilt only, cobalt ground, affixed to square ceramic 2 in. plinth, vase only 24-5/8 x 16-1/2 in., hairline repair at collar, repair on seam where joined after molding, on original base.
