English, circa 1820, peony centers with radiating panels of flowers and jardinières, cobalt and gilt rims, fourteen 9-1/2 in. plates, most with impressed Mason's mark, scratches and glaze losses, one with large break with staple repair, three with rim cracks, two with chips to foot ring, one with large missing section, three with rim chips; three 8 in. plates, glaze loss; three 9-1/2 in. soup bowls, one with crack from rim to foot, one with rim chip, one with rim chips and crack from rim into bottom, (20 pieces) . Provenance: Valerie Howard, London, and Christie's, 2003; Tennessee Private Collection; Note: Valerie Howard was a prominent dealer of Mason's in London.  After her death, Christie's sold the remaining stock of her shop.
