probably Annapolis or Washington, D.C. area, 1790-1810, with dentil molded and rosette carved swan's neck pediment over an open fretwork tympanum, fluted finial and finial support, glazed doors opening to adjustable shelved interior, lower case with inlaid and banded fall board opening to fitted interior with eight drawers and three additional unusual double and triple valance drawers, four graduated long drawers, on original ogee bracket feet, yellow pine and white cedar secondary, on original brass bail drawer pulls, unusual carved quarter columns, possibly original finial, 94-1/2 x 41-1/2 x 23 in.
good condition and integrity overall, very minor cracks and repairs to basket weave tympanum, two small interior drawer bottoms possibly replaced, original feet and most blocking, one rear facing pieced approximately two inches, other minor cracks and repairs to facings, one minor crack to fall board, veneer distress
