(British, b. 1940), impressed seal near base, 6 in.. Notes: Mary Rich is well known in Britain. She is a Fellow of the Craftsmen Potters Association, a member of the Devon Guild of Craftsmen and of the Cornwall Crafts Association. Her hand-thrown porcelain pots usually have several layers of color applied to the raw clay to achieve the base for her final decorations applied with liquid bright gold and other lustres after the glaze firing..
