Dish American, 1898, oval with everted rim with blossom and floral decorated rim, gilt interior, marks for Gorham Martelé, "1419", monogram on bottom, 18.17 oz. T., 2-1/4 x 7-3/4 x 6-1/2 in.,. Condition: good condition, light scratches. Notes: According to L.J. Pristo, Ph.D., [Martelé Gorham's Nouveau Art Silver,] this piece was completed November 26, 1898. The piece took 19 hours to make but no maker's name was on the card. The chasing took 35 hours. The net cost was $68.00.. Provenance: Private Collection
