Two plates: Giant Sphinx Moth, Cocytius antaeus Plate 38 and another unidentified Plate 45, from Metamorphosis Insectorum Surinamensium, 1705, circa 1766, Pieter Sluyter and Joseph Mulder, engravers, hand-colored engraving on laid paper, one with cocoon shaped watermark, plate 15-1/8 x 10-3/4 in. page 19-3/4 x 13-5/8 in.; modern parcel gilt wood frame, 24-5/8 x 19-1/2 in.
