Peirce", oil on canvas, 25-1/4 x 21-1/4 in.; modern gilt wood frame, 32-1/2 x 28-1/2 in.  - Note: "Margaret S. Peirce was active in the Boston area during the first two decades of the twentieth century. She exhibited at the Boston Art Club in 1902 and with the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts annual in 1912. From 1913 to 1919, she occupied a studio at Boston’s historic Fenway Studios, a building constructed in 1905 specifically for the purpose of being used by artists, with spacious room designs and large north facing windows offering ideal lighting. Fellow artists at the studio building during Peirce’s time there included Charles Hopkinson, Frederick A. Purchased items not picked up in Richmond by noon on Sunday will then be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
