Two Dancers, signed at base ?M. Hoffman?, patinated bronze, bronze 8-5/8 x 6 x 2-1/4 in., painted wood base 2 x 4-3/4 x 2-5/8 in.
Note: In the later part of Hoffman's life and career, she had various stretches of bed rest for health reasons. She kept creating under those confined conditions by sculpting small acrobat figures, such as this charming and lively figural group.
