French, late 18th century, pale gray and gilt frame with trophy appliques centering wreath and helmet motif, probably original mirror plate, 72 x 39-1/2 in.
pediment with some cracks and retouch to paint, applique with scattered losses and paint retouch to gilding, some distress to mirror plate (probably original, not removed), other typical light wear, chips and surface flaws
