French, late 19th/early 20th century, elaborately carved frame with leaf and rocaille pierce-carved crests, purple velvet upholstered head- and footboard, brass tacking, 65 x 62-1/2 x 87 in., interior 58 x 80 in., cracks at base of headboard near rail attachment, some cracks and separations at curved area of footboard.
