French, late 19th century, deeply carved oak frames, settee with petit point upholstered back depicting two figures in a bucolic landscape with a dog, velvet-upholstered seat and arms, 42-1/2 x 56 x 27-1/2 in.; chair with similar back upholstery, seat upholstery depicting a wolf and a sheep, 40-3/4 x 29-1/2 x 29 in., frames generally good condition with scattered surface wear and finish losses, scattered minor chips to leaf carving including one minor loss at arm terminal, other typical cracks and surface wear, settee upholstery generally good (seat and arm upholstery later), armchair with back and arm upholstery generally good with minor moth damage, seat upholstery with several punctures and other wear.
