Continental, 19th century, works stamped "Erhard Jauch/Uhrenfabrik/Germany", painted and gilt metal dial with roman numerals, set in elaborate boulle marquetry case with scrollwork and figural decoration, gilt bronze caryatid corner mounts, flame urn finials, central gilt scene with chariots and charioteer, supported by four gilt bronze horses on conforming plinth, with pendulum and wind key, 35-3/4 x 24-1/2 x 9-1/2 in.
