Paris, early 20th century, exterior in monogram coated canvas, wooden struts, original brass hardware stamped "Champs Elyesss Paris, Louis Vuitton, London New Bond Street" and leather side handles, brass tacks read "Louis Vuitton", interior features a wardrobe hanging compartment with an extendable rack, adjustable dust ruffle, a small briefcase, and six pull out drawers covered in orange colored canvas with leather tabs stamped "L Vuitton", two interior leather labels read "Asniere S/Seine, Louis Vuitton, Paris, 70. Champs Elysees, Nice, 4 Jardin Public, Lille, 34 Rue Faidherbe, London, 149 New Bond St, Modele Depose" label, 43-1/2 x 21-1/2 x 21-3/4 in. - Provenance: Private Collection, Lake Toxaway, North Carolina
one corner dented, tape residue to left front side of brief case, some wear and fading to interior canvas, scattered abrasions and minor losses to exterior canvas, tarnish to hardware, wear to leather handles, tabs and labels, typical scratches and surface wear from use, lacking key˜
Condition
Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
