probably Swiss, late 19th century, banded burlwood case, single-cylinder works and conforming burlwood-veneered frame, sides set with fine bronze carrying handles, 33 x 39 x 18 in., somewhat rough condition and in need of restoration, warping, cracks and veneer blistering to top, comb is lacking several points, several small molding pieces off but present, scattered losses and color retouch to veneers, lacking decorative brasses front and back, mechanism does turn and work when tried.
