Japanese, 19th century, bulbous earthenware long-neck form, the lower part painted with children playing in garden, the neck richly gilded and painted in a variety of cell-diaper patterns, on pierced wooden stand and mounted as electric lamp, vase 16-3/4 in., lamp 22 in. to top of socket,. Condition: slight wear to gilding, drilled in bottom for wiring.
