Chinese, large vase with colorful literati scene of ceramics, books, fruit and peonies, calligraphy inscription to back, 23-1/4 x 9 in., [porcelain ears on sides of neck have been removed and enameled over in peony design, minor enamel loss]; figure with child holding up [ruyi] scepter on rock base, 13-1/2 x 9 in., [minor loss to tip of child’s left sleeve].
