(White County, Georgia, 1917-1998), dark runny mottled green alkaline glaze, large pronounced cheeks, chin and ears, pointed nose with large nostrils, white clay eyes with black pupils inset in thick eyelids, single row of white clay teeth, incised eyebrows, applied strap handle from shoulder to spout, inscribed on bottom “Lanier Meaders 1-19-1980”, 10-1/4 in.. Condition: glaze voids and anomalies as made, nick to right eyebrow. Provenance: Sewell Collection, Georgia
