Jacob Petit (French, 1796-1868), square bottle with scrolled corners and feet, each side painted with bouquets of flowers against a black ground, maroon corners and top, richly gilded, signed in underglaze-blue "j.p.", 8-1/2 in.,. Condition: lacking stopper, drilled in bottom for lamp, two feet repaired, gilding slightly worn.
