Central Depiction of the Madonna with Christ, flanked by Saints Domenico and Catherine of Siena, and other Saints in a piazza, bordered with depictions of The Fifteen Holy Mysteries, bottom panel with the Latin inscription "CORONEMVS NOS ROSIS ANTE QVAM MARCESCANT" (We are Crowned with Roses Before They Wither), oil on canvas, 86 x 61-1/2 in.; black painted frame, 87-1/2 x 63 x 2-1/2 in.

Note: The inscription references a passage from the Apocryphal text from Wisdom of Solomon 2:8 or the Book of Wisdom (Sapientia). The text also includes "SAP CA II", which is an abbreviation for "Sapientia, Capitulum II", meaning "Wisdom, Chapter 2."
