Asian, early 20th century, multiple components (curtain panels, valances, swags, jabots, vertical drops, passementerie, tie backs) from a large set of draperies, large rectangular panels, two 62-1/2 x 143-1/2 in., and swag, jabot, pouf, and vertical drop components, two approx. 22-1/2 x 87 in., two 10-1/2 x 22 in., two 15-1/4 x 25 in., two 18 x 43 in., two approx. 25 x 47-1/2 in., 14 9 x 46 in., one 17-1/2 x 44-1/2 in., one 19 x 44-1/2 in., and two 9 in., are beige-green silk satin compound weave with Chinese aesthetic design of multicolored birds and flowering branches, short vertical swag components, two 10-1/2 x 22 in. and six approx. 20 x 88 in., are identical compound weave but also include panels of yellow beige-green silk satin embroidered in long satin stitches with design of flowers and berries, valance and top treatment components, four 16 x 22-1/4 in., four 24 x 22-1/2 in., four approx. 10-1/2 x 33-1/2 in., two 19-3/4 x 58 in., and two approx. 30 x 60 in. are yellow-beige-green silk satin panels embroidered in long satin stitches with design of flowers and berries, two 5 x 31 in., one 5 x 46-1/2 in., one 8 x 30 in., one 3 x 28-1/2 in., one 7 x 41 in., three approx. 8 x 103-1/2 in., and 11 approx. 6 x 14 in. components are yellow-green and multicolored braided silk cord tie-backs looped through knotted silk-covered wooden collars, with large pendant tassels with heavy silk fringe, passementerie and trim elements vary from component type to component type, and include pale yellow and beige woven ribbon, silk covered round and floriform wooden buttons, silk-covered cone-shaped and turned wooden tassels, pom poms, and twisted and knotted silk cord fringe, all components lined with various shades of yellow-brown and beige silk, and interlayered with off-white cotton twill or burlap

Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
