assorted cultured and imitation pearls, assorted shapes, sizes and colors, full drilled, half drilled and some not drilled, not counted or weighed Note: Stringer Jewelry was a jewelry and gift store in Girard, Ohio from 1939-2005 providing beautiful original creations and symbols that mattered. It was a family store that was a hub of the community originating with my grandfather, Reginald Stringer, his son (my father), Dale Stringer and his wife (my mother), Mary Claire Stringer - all artists, gemologists and jewelers. The stones in this collection came from a variety of sources. Many were purchased to give customers options to customize their rings, pendants, earrings, tie tacks, etc...Some were purchased by Dale and Mary Claire during a vacation to Brazil. Many stones were taken from customers’ jewelry for replacements or upgrades, while others were gifts from customers after exotic trips or encounters with exotic people. I'm sure many of the small diamonds were once dropped on the floor beneath the jewelers bench and retrieved at the end of the week with one concentrated sweep. These stones need new homes - beautiful new creations, inspirational works of art and above all, new symbols that matter to another generation.
