Note: This bottle bears two stickers and while the first is largely illegible (but mentions a man named Richard Philip, his son Richard, and the year 1760 or 1780), the second reads "This pr[iv]ilege was a special gr... for 24 years by the [go]vernment as a reward fo[r] pecuniary loss in the manufacture of powder and for other distinguished services in the War of the Revolution."
