Provenance: Estate of Dr. J. Francis and Laquita Amos, Rocky Mount, Virginia
Note: Three coins were submitted to ANACS for grading, 1793, 1804, and a coin occupying the spot for the 1799 date. While ANACS graded the 1793 and 1804, they determined the supposed "1799" to actually be a 1798. Therefore, this near set contains two 1798 coins, one graded and one raw.
incidents of typical issues for copper coins: discoloration (from cleaning), porosity, dark areas, rim bruises; visible wear and circulation to each, some more than others, highest details VF or so for a few of the later braided hair examples, early dates with considerably more wear and a few with weak dates (the 1794 identifiable by type only)
