Labat, Paris, Rue Jacques, 1722, six volumes, several fold-out plans, maps and black-and-white illustrations including one large fold-out map of Martinique, gilt-decorated period full leather binding with five raised bands, 7-1/2 x 10-1/2 x 5 in.; in custom-made cloth clamshell case with a morocco title label, very good condition, losses to heads of spines and wear to extremities, Minnesota Historical Society and personal bookplates affixed to front pastedowns and free endpapers.
