German, 19th century, reticulated porcelain bowl with flared rim, green enamel and gilt decoration, marks for KPM on base, 6 x 15-1/4 in.; on brass base with three gilt decorated sphinx supports, height on stand 11 in.
surface dirt and accretion, scattered minor losses to gilding, metal basin with some spotting and discoloration, some fluorescence at bowl interior (possible retouch?), base with crack and large chip to one corner
