Note: Foaled in 1922, Manna was a British thoroughbred racehorse who ran eight times winning four in the 1924-25 period.

Kathleen Wheeler Crump lived in Canada and in the United States settling in 1926 in the Washington, DC area. Known for her portraits of champion racehorses, she was commissioned by Churchill Downs to sculpt portraits of the winners of the Kentucky Derby.
