Mahogany Card Table
attributed to John Shaw, 1745-1829, table dates to 1780-1785, mahogany with yellow pine, ash, white pine and sycamore, figured mahogany top with molded edge, original glue blocks, tapered and molded legs, 29-1/2 x 38 x 18-1/2 in., opens to 37-1/2 in.. Condition: excellent condition, top with some warping, minor repairs to beaded base molding, MESDA conservation notes: "Fine original finish", old surface with stains and minor sun fading.
