Crown Derby Scent Bottles Hanley, Staffordshire, England, early 19th century, ironstone decorated in an Imari-style pattern (#4516) in iron-red, blue, green and gold, printed blue mark of crown atop garter enclosing initials J and R sitting in a cluster of flowers and leaves with a ribbon declaring SUPERIOR STONE CHINA, 6-1/2 in., repairs to one side of rim of cover and adjacent flange, gilding over chip on finial, body has short crack from top rim, small chip under rim of stand, slight wear to gilding overall, small firing anomalies; together with two Derby porcelain scent bottles hand-painted in polychrome with spring flowers in reserves on deep-blue grounds with gilded flourishes, red painted Derby crown mark, 4-1/2 in., no stoppers, one bottle has deep rim chip, gilding worn overall, (total three pieces), .
